Illustration for Puyo Dessert 13th anniversary. The theme was finding magic in the mundane. Along with two Indonesian illustrator, we created three special paperbags to celebrate the important anniversary.
When thinking about the mundane, I can't help but think about the iconic plastic chair. We've all probably sat on it or saw it at least once in our life. We don't know how and why, but those chairs are always everywhere to the point that we don't pay attention to it anymore. The memories I have sitting on those chairs, surrounded by my loved ones, are very dear to my heart. It became the usual spot, no matter where I go and no matter who I'm with. That's what I think of when I think of finding magic in the mundane.
