The illustration responds to the theme of sustainability and the idea that the future is not something we wait for, but something we actively protect. This theme also reflects on how the current climate changes happened because of the decision that was made in the past.&nbsp; The artwork depicts a giant house of cards, with each chamber representing a different ecosystem, from forests and wetlands to urban environments, filled with the everyday lives of the beings that inhabit them. One chamber appears noticeably emptier than the others, subtly suggesting how extreme changes will cause displacement of its inhabitants into neighboring spaces. The theme was finding magic in the mundane. Along with two Indonesian illustrator, we created three special paperbags to celebrate the important anniversary. When thinking about the mundane, I can't help but think about the iconic plastic chair. We've all probably sat on it or saw it at least once in our life. We don't know how and why, but those chairs are always everywhere to the point that we don't pay attention to it anymore.&nbsp; The memories I have sitting on those chairs, surrounded by my loved ones, are very dear to my heart. It became the usual spot, no matter where I go and no matter who I'm with. It functions as both a cafe and a strength training space. Built around the idea of community, Batu is less about performance and more about presence. For this collaboration, I explored the theme One More Round,&nbsp;a reflection on our conscious decision to continue.
